The Best First Birthday Luau Ever!

I am SO excited to finally share this post about Lila’s first birthday! Her party was everything I imagined and turned out better than I expected. I really couldn’t be more happy with everything! Not to mention Lila had so much fun walking around and visiting with everyone. She really is our little social butterfly! I plan on doing separate posts about the decorations and food because if I tried to include it all then this post would be never ending. I hope you enjoy all of these wonderful photos taken by Lila’s wonderful JJ!

Lila’s first birthday really was an adult party, since Wyatt and I are the first to have kids in our friends and families. But she did have one sweet friend there, which was so great since they got to play together! But, since it was an adult party we didn’t have to plan any real games or activities. I guess that will have to happen next year!

I really have to give a huge shout out to my husband and family. Wyatt ran around all day Sunday picking up any last minute items like the balloons and ice. We had other family members helping with food and decorating. We also had to have someone watching Lila at all times, so that Wyatt and I could stay productive! It couldn’t have happened without them!

And a huge thank you to some of my bests Annabelle and Bri! They blew up balloons and inflatables for DAYS! They also helped me in any and every way after traveling from Dallas to Houston. Not to mention keeping me so much calmer than I predicted I would be! It definitely helps to have hysterical friends with you in stressful moments.

(Lila preferred a goldfish over the messy cake)

We had so much family and so many friends travel from so many places all to celebrate our sweet girl. Wyatt and I count ourselves so blessed to have so many people who love our little Lila so much! The party was everything thanks to all our loved ones being there! It really was the best Luau ever! Be on the lookout for upcoming posts about the décor and food! Nearly everything was DIY and turned out better than I imagined! Thanks for checking out my post and all the photos!
